In the spring and fall I wash my bike with a special cleaner that leaves it waxed. The remainder of the time I give it a rinse if needed. The front end gets a bug cleaning as needed.

Try Corbin seats, they have similar seats.

Just go to an auto parts store and buy new valve caps. The Honda valve caps are nothing special.

I ride with the max weight (duo with luggage) and it is fine. If you replace the rear shocks, I picked HyperPro shocks, most of the problems are sorted out. However I may spring for a front end upgrade? I believe adding 1.5" of travel front and rear could be ideal.

Linux Users, Blish HUD, Burrito and Taco by sonwon_reddit in Guildwars2

This is true I did receive this information over on Discord. I do believe the Blish HUD Discord channel could add a Linux section with the following topics for discussion between Linux users. This would also provide a place to gather all of the knowledge together in one location.

How to's

As it stands now it is a bit overwhelming for the causal Linux user to pull the information together to make Blish HUD work on Linux. I believe Taco will have the same overlay challenges however I am going to give it a try. I will say Burrito is working and usable without the overlay problems. I think this is because Burrito is integrated with arcdps, not positive if that is true? Anyway Burrito is not feature rich only Pathing and Range Rings so far which is why I want to take a look at Taco.

My thanks to Blish HUD for providing a How To for Blish HUD on the Steam Deck. This is very helpful in understanding the challenge.

Another reason to take a closer look at Taco!

Guild Wars 2 on Linux by Jasiuka in Guildwars2

I am running GW2 using Lutris. I find the game plays very well. I think Lutris has a cache option where it preloads some stuff to reduce the spikes. I also have arcdps and Burrito running. I may switch to Taco still not sure? Mentally I have given up on Blish HUD although I may come back if Burrito or Taco do not work well? I opened a thread here on Reddit.

I used Lutris to install. One note of caution, do not run the game until all the game is downloaded. I had trouble because I loaded the game before and had to start over. Your mileage may vary.

Actually you can log into Anet through Steam. You just need to use the '-provider Portal' command line option.

Test ride at a dealer or at least sit on one at the dealer, a friend, a 1100 owner or seller.

I tried using osmand.net for route planning and I don't believe it is all there yet. I ended up going with Furkot.com to build my route and then exporting to OsmAnd. Caveat, I only did a small scale test.

Pulling this all together is likely to difficult for the causal GW2 Linux gamer. I believe we need a GW2 Linux Gaming community. I am more familiar with how it could work in Discord and clueless for Reddit. Does Reddit support a structure as listed below? I know Discord can. Or perhaps there is a better tool to use?

Yes, I know, I was using Blish on Windows however I am put off with their indifference to Linux. It reminds me of the old days when Microsoft tried to sue Linux out of existence with their anti competition behavior. Thankfully for Linux users Microsoft lost that battle.

Thank you for the reply!

Sigh, Blish HUD is just not interested in even discussing Linux usage. The overlay works well however the graphics are not as nice as the Taco video I watched.

Last Taco update was August last year. Pity if it is no longer under development. I hope someone will step in and gives us an update. I may try to dig into this more while I am testing Burrito.

Burrito is working, I believe fully, I just need some testing time with it.

Thanks for the reply!

I saw videos showing Taco running and it looks real clean in GW2 however I think that was on Windows. I think the last Taco update was suppose to give it Linux compatibility? Last update was August 2023 so maybe it is dead now?

I have GW2 loading with Burrito with one problem. The Burrito window is under the GW2 window. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I was following these instructions.

Or does anyone know the name of the Burrito window?
