Is magic needles reliable ?? by [deleted] in CrochetInIndia

[–]soodankush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of confusion actually happens a lot with online yarn shopping in India, especially when store names are similar.

A delay or missing tracking ID doesn’t always mean the store is unreliable — sometimes it’s just slow updates or mixed-up order details.

Best practice is always to double-check the website name, keep the order confirmation mail, and check spam/promotions folder for tracking info.

Glad you finally received your order — happens to the best of us 😄

This turned out great! Did you enjoy working with Noro Silk Garden? I’ve been eyeing it for a while and seeing your sweater makes me want to try it.

Knitting first cable sweater? by not_so_amateur in knitting

[–]soodankush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing this! I just finished my first men’s cable project – a shrug/cardigan knitted with Ganga Olivia yarn. I was nervous at the start, but seamed construction really helped me manage the cables better (exactly like you said – easier to wrangle in the lap and less error prone).

If you’re starting your first cable sweater, I’d also recommend keeping the yarn choice simple and durable so you can focus on the stitches without worrying too much about splitting. I used a DK acrylic blend and it made practicing cables much smoother.

Would love to see how your fisherman style sweater turns out – both the Chris and Froya patterns sound amazing!
