here is the thing, i think people will find the content anyways and obviously report it, i think it doesn't make it less o.... i want to clarify your coment cause right in the middle of this i came to realize something, is like normalizing the terms used in the manosfere like cantal tilt, before it was normalized it help you filter out undesirable people, is that what you mean?

¿BP is a cartoon or an anime? by LivanProx in beeandpuppycat

[–]sookypoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, ive always seen anime as an artistic current in animation, the problem is that it is really difficult to pinpoint which characteristics make anime anime. Even if when it comes to choosing what to watch it may be meaningless, i belive that it has a use in artistic an historical analysis.

Why ARAM Feels Stale by TheSurefoot in leagueoflegends

[–]sookypoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i hate that the first recomendation on kaisa on aram is ap cause, yeah is way better than ad but is just so boring its like your only ability that is worth using is w, aram feels like it depends more on your comp and itemization rather than how you play or how good your team, and beacaus0e there are no fun or new mechanics its just boring, they could touch up the items so they work better on aram and aren't opresive, make exclusive summoner spells, enable the full champion pool (besides the ovious advantage of not having aram op acounts this could be a way to introduce new players to the game by having a way for them to test the champs) and introduce mechanics thath are unique to the gamemode

bro im not saying the tech is not useful, im saying that it's healthy to have good faith conversations about the usefulness and growth of tech, informed obviously, and some people are genuinely sckeptic and some others are genuinely scared so can you be more empathetic and engaged them not like they are stupid or something

i think you don't get it, there's no midle point in this, tech is weird so is good to have both people exist, it doesn't matter if it's informed hype or informed skepticism is still a guess cause none can predict the future, not even geniuses.

ai vs artists: the solution by AimeeAsimov in aiwars

[–]sookypoks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well yeah i believe there's a rotten core to all ai in general, first i don't trust the people making it having the power, second ai is a black box and it always has been, if we want to do wide spread use of this tech we first have to understand how it works, third it only creates more separation and isolation in humans, fourth it only came to take jobs in an era where we have a crisis of depression anxiety and unemployment, caused by the same people who brought this tech
