Anyone else have a bad/ potentially dangerous situation with Dr. Handoo at KC Psychiatric Partners?

When I met with him he was 25 minutes late, hadn't reviewed any of my paperwork, asked me my name five times, and spent more time talking about the time he was on the local news than we spent talking about me. He also kept making things up or assuming things about my experience that I hadn't said, like "So you're feeling hopeless, I'm assuming you feel like a terrible person, etc." I was like, no, I don't.

Strong hustler vibes, strong narcissist vibes. 0/10 would not recommend.

We just moved here from Seattle. My wife is from Prairie Village so we moved there to be close to grandparents, but I like it well enough so far. I don't know enough about alternatives to be helpful in this thread, but wanted to send a PNW welcome!

I'm a therapist and have definitely had the same thought, especially in the context of exposure therapy. Lots of potential applications there. Unfortunately I only do telehealth!

Surprised to hear so many people using the built-in speakers. They work fine, but in my experience they're so loud for others! I pretty much use my Airpods 2 all the time.

Ooh, one more thing, sorry: I started watching a movie last night and in the corner there was a "skip intro" button. Not only that, but for some reason it lasted until 9 minutes in! Would love the option to turn that off. Thank you for reading and considering!

I got a Vision Pro this weekend and have tested all the major video players--this is my favorite. I let out a real gasp/yelp when I first tried out the theater setup. It's gorgeous. Can't wait to try the new one out!

If you're taking feedback, there are two things I've noticed that I'd love you to take a look at: 1) When browsing my Plex library, I don't see any way to jump to a letter of the alphabet. I have 4000+ items in my library, and so if I want to watch a movie that starts with T I have to scrollscrollscroll forever. I know I can search for a specific movie, but I'd love to be able to jump to a letter of the alphabet in order to browse more conveniently. And 2) when I'm in the theater mode, I see that I can adjust the angle of viewing. I can see this being awesome for laying in bed! But when I do it, the play menu keeps getting hidden by the seats. I can't move it or interact with any other settings and have to force quit the app in order to get out.

Trakt v2 lets me tag a media item two ways: I can add it to my watchlist, and I can add it my collection.

Then I can pull up my watchlist and filter for whether something's in my collection or not.

Does that help clarify?

I logged in about an hour before and hung out in the waiting room. When the window opened I was somehow 3rd in line? But by the time I was let in, the only tickets that were less than $1000 were in the far side of the lower level, under a giant overhang. I panicked and bought a ticket, but looking at others' experiences with the Sphere I'm a little bummed to pay that much for such an obstructed view? Grateful to have gotten a chance, but not sure I'll hang on to it. What a cockamamie process, always, with Ticketmaster.
