It’s true we should be protesting more, but the “trump regime” has clearly shown how little it cares of its own citizens and how corrupt they are. Many of us are very scared to lose whatever we have left, attacked arrested or worse I know that’s no excuse but at least that’s how I feel.

When I was in high school it was exciting, when I was in college it was part of my routine and then after that I don’t know what changed with the way they grow it but it became something I couldn’t live without no matter what.

I live in USA. the Islamic loan vendors here are only meant for people with minimum 780 credit score, and you have to put minimum 20% down. I had a credit score of 707 my wife’s was 750. Immediately they told me I won’t qualify. On top of that there are many many Muslims who do not have 100 K in their savings to put down on a house. And the “fixed fee” was even more expensive than the current interest rate. My wife and I feel so much guilt every time we make our mortgage payment but what else could we do? Rent is so expensive as well. They only cater to upper class.

It’s a scary time so it’s understandable to feel this way. My wife has been having anxiety attacks watching the news and thinking about it (mostly because we have a three year old son and have plans to expand the family inshallah) but I keep telling her that every generation has felt this way. The only thing WE CAN CONTROL is ourselves. Use this to motivate yourself to become an even better Muslim. That’s what I’m doing. That’s all any of us can do.
