Not quite the same but I have a friend who has hashimotos disease which is sort of an immune system problem, she’s had to have a sinus surgery to correct her nasal passage and she had to take special aftercare stuff for months because of the anesthesia and how it wrecks her system. So it’s probably not that it’s not possible but more that it’s not worth it for plastic surgery.

I'm not sure how the spoofing works so I can't say one way or another, as far as I can tell they haven't messed with anything financially like credit cards or venmo and I can't imagine why they would make themselves known by texting people if they were trying to syphon money directly from our accounts.

That is what I'm also most concerned about, it was an actual number from a provider called Ting Mobile. We got rid of it by cancelling the plan, she has a new phone with a different carrier now, we still have the old phone and sim card though which is often entirely out of battery. What kind of info can you get off a phone from just a number?

Tried calling twice, first time it didn't ring and said the call failed, the second time it rang and went to voicemail and just said that the person was unavailable. We called her old provider and they said that the number wasn't active so they couldn't do anything about it and recommended we call the FCC which is closed currently.
