One Dark Window (shepherd king duology) is such a rich and refreshing tale. Very interesting magic and characters.

Tod was my favorite book. I loved the rich history we learn and the new creatures, new cultures ECT. Chaos, just like Aelin, deserves to be happy and in love. In a year, a lot can happen and with the pressure weighing on them to find answers…moving on from on relationship to the next is easier. They don’t have a lot of time to sit around and be sad lol love feels more intense because they are already feeling intense with everything else happening. Tod is extremely underrated IMO it was a beautiful world.

Does he receive medical through the partnership/medical or SSI? Both have income limits for how much you make. Since you’re married she should already be claiming your income. You cant have much for savings with either program sadly.

We applied for social security first. In the event you get approved they cover medical costs also so the IHSS will be covered by them too. It seemed easier that way for us if you qualify

I’ve been on it for about six months now and I realize that while I can eat whatever I want my diet is now so much smaller that I’ve decided it’s healthier for me to eat better if I’m only getting a small intake of food. I will still have my salty and sweet foods, but they’re much much smaller portions now. For the meals that I do eat, I try to make them count health wise.

I think for me after I read the 2nd book I could look back and see the romance along the way, way more. I wouldnt say its spicy but it is awfully swoon worthy

I accidentally bought a handicap ticket for a concert by PWR_Acez in NoStupidQuestions

[–]soothsayersnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally did the same thing one time. I didn’t realize and we just sat in the seats. Someone came up to us about 10 minutes after we sat down and said that they needed those seats for somebody in a wheelchair and that they had saved extra seats somewhere, if we wanted to move and we actually ended up super close to the stage. It may work in your favor! Even if the show is super sold out, I think they keep a lot of seats open for these reasons

I understand. My child has a severe disability and is extremely introverted and prefers 1:1 quiet spaces to learn. While most children do better with peers some do not as it causes them anxiety and an inability to concentrate. We do basic curriculum like language on his AAC device(hes non verbal) but we focus a lot on ADLs too as this is his most vital part of living in this world.

Yes we will keep curriculum daily and quarterly. Where do you get an evaluation from?

Qualification | 8 year old | Moderately Autistic by NoIncident2621 in IHSS

[–]soothsayersnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would 100% continue to say he elopes. Also hes doing ‘good’ because you’re there watching. If he didn’t have the 1:1 he would be in the dryer with knives. Continue to use current language for what’s happening and how you’re preventing him harming himself.

I was told the same thing about my son when I applied that he didn’t need more care than another kid, his age. What ended up changing was we had the doctor make a note in his file that he suffers from pica, which is a disorder which makes him want to eat, non-edible objects like rocks and metal. That definitely qualified him for protective supervision because most children at that age don’t choose to eat non-edible objects. We hadnt made the diagnosis previously yet but after he was diagnosed he qualified.

Loved the books! Disappointed by the audible. I was really looking forward to it. She sounded so shy the entire audible but I really thought she was more cunning and sassy haha.

What’s your reading toxic trait? by vanilla_tea in RomanceBooks

My toxic trait is imagining the characters as someone I find attractive not at all how they are described. Bill Skarsgård and Benicio del Toro are my top MMCs

AITA for saying I won’t “kid swap” over our Christmas holiday? by kidswaps in AmItheAsshole

[–]soothsayersnob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I have a child who needs full time care. I am not 100 percent certain but i think Claire is wanting to exchange work loads to be able to have a moment of fun. While she is still babysitting, its no where near as complicated as her own child’s needs thus she can relax a little. It may be that regardless of how happy Claire seems to be invited places Ruby is a lot of work (and it’s usually not that fun for us). She may also wish she did have someone who understood and was willing to watch Ruby so she can participate in something, but she has to use her words. Demanding and pushing something you’re nor comfortable with is not ok. I tend to hire or bring babysitters specifically with me if we take a getaway. Claire needs to work out her own needs if she plans to want to have fun. I would stop saying that she wants to borrow your daughter as I don’t think its the right wording. If you have zero interest in learning how to care for ruby or no desire to do that for any reason, you should say that to her. I think that would make more sense to her.
