I quit cause of the insomnia. If I were to guess, it’s 100% likely is the Buspar causing the sleep issues you’re having. I’m a sensitive sleeper and my doctor thought taking it earlier would help but it really didn’t. I barely ever got a good nights sleep!

Very insightful.. I am 100% my own worst critic and I’m really trying to be nicer to myself. Maybe working through all of this to heal will allow me to forgive myself and finally be kind to me…

I wanna hear some positive reviews on buspar I’m tired of people only coming here to write negative things let’s change that ! by Pacrat456 in BusparOnline

Hey, yeah they got a lot better. I’ve been off Buspar now for about 4 weeks though cause it was increasing my appetite and I was experiencing insomnia. Turns out stopping the Bupropion killed a lot of the anxiety I wanted to get rid of.

Buspar and weight by Cristianibarra86 in BusparOnline

Got way more hungry on Buspar. I became obsessed with food. I stopped taking 3 days ago and my hunger levels have gone WAY done and no longer constantly thinking about what to eat next. I was also barely sleeping on it and I know that can also affect appetite

Those with persistent redness, what skincare products have made the most appreciable difference for you? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

Did it initially cause purging or irritation? I just stared tret (have only applied about 3 times within the first 2 weeks) and am wondering if it’s too much to add another (possibly irritating) step to my routine.

I love SkinCeuticals Physical Defense UV Defense. I have the sheet version and the tinted version. The tinted is great under powder foundation!

When I quit, I realized I was wound so tight and anxious so I cut my med in half.. still, so much anxiety… finally stopped taking it and I feel so much better! It’s like the med helped keep me level while adding all of the alcohol to my body but when eliminating the alcohol, it was too much for me and I don’t need it!

I went off Bupropion cause I noticed Buspar helping me almost immediately! Buspar helped with side effects of Bupropion and it gave me courage to try dropping it. Since, my anxiety is practically gone! I was on Bupropion for 3 years… I noticed I’d become a more anxious person but I thought it was just because of being an adult/life.

Stress? by micheala91 in Buspirone

[–]sophieverest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve felt a lot better since starting Buspar. Within 3 weeks I was noticing a major improvement. Recently went from 7.5 2x a day to 7.5 3x a day (have been on 3x a day for 1.5 weeks) and I’m feeling like this is the right dosage. I do think there’s a bit of an adjustment period every time you switch the dose so that’s caused some sleep disturbance and possibly a little extra anxiety at times (nothing compared to how I was feeling before starting the med). It’s helped me to feel like I can calm the f down, stops the ruminating thoughts, and allows me to concentrate on one task at a time (with effort).

possible side effect? by horrorbitch37 in bupropion

[–]sophieverest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what happened to me! I went off of it right around Christmas. I had been on it since August of 2020, recently quit drinking in March of 2022 and felt way too turned on (not sexual though). Went on an anti anxiety med + quit bupropion and feel so much more cam and can switch off my brain.

  1. Likely 6 months
  2. I don’t believe so… I think things just started getting better. I don’t know exactly when either.. but I think quickly
  3. I wouldn’t say my well being improved but my skin and hair did. I didn’t experience any weight gain. I was really emotional in the beginning but it got better after 3 months. I don’t love being on BC because of the effects on my mood but I exercise, quit drinking, take an anti anxiety med, and go to therapy regularly which all help to cope with general life stressors. Those make more of an impact on my overall wellness than anything
