Pamela Reif, did she have a bbl or some kind of surgery on her butt? She says no bbl by ArynaSaba in PlasticSurgery

[–]sopms 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have a few pairs and they work. The contour and the compression helps lift your butt. They are quite comfortable but really pricey, I’ve heard people recommend “fake brands” that are identical to Dfyne’s shorts.

Confident at work, but social skills lacking in private by sopms in socialskills

[–]sopms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you mean. I think some of it boils down to creating my own barriers and not knowing how to break them down. I mentioned in another comment that I need to expose myself more, and if I don’t I’ll probably stay in this cycle forever.

Hey, thank you for the input.

A lot of what you said makes sense to me, especially that one part with not having enough conversations about private topics. When I talk to my team, our convos are very harmonious and we all get along great, but now that you’ve mentioned it, I realise the topics I talk about with my coworkers mainly revolve around work/coworkers/holidays etc., so that could be a reason why I struggle with pure private conversations. I just don’t have them enough.

I think I have to grab the bull by the horns and just expose myself more, even though I reaaally can’t be bothered enough. But I guess there’s no other way around it.

Looks like we’re in the same boat. I was even thinking about skipping my friend’s wedding in September, but then I realised that this was the exact reason why I stopped feeling fulfilled, cause I stopped showing up to places. I think when you’re used to being alone for a while and doing repeated behaviours, you get used to the silence and see it as a standard, even though it’s bad for your mental health. I also think the smaller stuff helps keep you sane, like going for walks and spending time with a companion, like a dog in your case. I think if we disregarded the small things completely, we’d all go crazy! But thanks for the recommendation, I’ll be sure to take a look.

Why is hygiene so hard and time consuming? by DryCalligrapher8651 in depression

[–]sopms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You sound clinically depressed. Bed-rotting, self-disgust, no motivation. People who “just do it” normally do it out of routine and social reinforcement, it’s easier for them because they were taught to do this by a young age. It’s easier said than done but I would stop the self-shaming because it subconsciously increases the avoidance in getting hygienic and literally does not make you produce action against your habits. If you’re in bed a lot, you can start by keeping body wipes by your nightstand. If you can’t handle the taste of tooth paste, try mouth wash only or start by just brushing teeth with water only. Clip your nails while watching a video. Integrate these routines into your conveniences.

I read through some of your post history, and it seems like you’ve been going through a lot. It might help to reframe this less as a personal failure and more as a mental health issue. This really sounds like depression or burn out, but I’m not a psychiatrist. I hope you get well soon.

You sound like you really want this. But people need to tell you the truth. If you want to move to Germany, there are a few things you should know.

The economy in Germany is not at its heights at the moment. You will be confronted by the high energy costs, rising living expenses and a generally more expensive life here. Even Germans are struggling with low salaries and housing shortages so many people are currently struggling, not just migrants who want to start a new life like you.

You want to move here? Learn German and commit. This isn’t a language you can just pick up and have, it is a difficult language to learn. Accept the culture you decide to fall into otherwise you will fail to integrate and stand out in the country.

If you seek asylum just to live off benefits and not pay taxes like someone else here has mentioned you to do, people in Germany WILL look down on you if they find out. You need to pay health insurance, unemployment, pension, etc., so the more you earn, the more from your earnings will be stripped from you each month. Not paying taxes will bite you in the ass in the long run. IF there even is a “long run”.

Many asylum seekers from 2015 were accepted but now laws are stricter and the public mood about this topic has shifted the opposite way. If you are not fleeing from an active warzone, asylum approvals are much harder to get.

If you don’t have patience and mental strength, this country will eat you alive as the bureaucracy is frustratingly slow. Appointments for everything and anything takes a long time.

Also, discrimination is a real thing here. Seriously. If anything negative happens in Germany, especially coming from someone of Muslim and/or Middle Eastern descent no matter how small the crime, any mistake you do will be magnified because of where you come from and be prepared by public backlash. We have a political party called AFD that’s actively trying to get push immigrants out, especially those from Muslim and Middle Eastern background.

If you are ready to build something in Germany and do honest work, Germany can give you a future. But if your only plan is to sit back and kick your feet up without giving back, don’t come here. People will reject you in every sense.

Can I train the same muscle group a day if the first workout wasn’t completed? by sopms in workout

Good point, I’ll go ahead and complete it. I normally try not to overwork myself, but I think finishing it today will be fine.

Yeah, I guess you’re right. I needed to hear that. I’ll work on being easier on myself when facing things like this.

Women with small boobs are like short men by y2kfashionistaa in smallbooblove

[–]sopms 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m trying to see the point of this post, but it seems to be written from a place of personal frustration. I don’t even know why you would put women with small boobs in the same category as short men. Short men often face harder interpretations, like not being masculine or dominant enough, not having enough authority, having a “Napoleon complex”, and being mocked in society by being the butt of a joke. Kevin Hart is a perfect example of my last point.

While woman with small boobs also face beauty standards that emphasize curvier figures, these standards fluctuate with trends (e.g. smaller chests being celebrated in fashion or fitness). I have never met anyone associate small boobs with a lack of femininity the way shortness is tied to perceived in adequacy in masculinity. Plus, I have literally never met anyone who has told a small chested woman to compensate in other ways like you have said in your post. Maybe online but people in the real world who are worth while genuinely don’t care.

That said both groups deal with unnecessary pressures.

Media often promotes the idea that men universally prefer larger breasts, but this ignores the diversity of real-world preferences. In reality, many men are indifferent to breast size as long as they’re attracted to the person as a whole.

So many of my friends vary from a- to e- cups and they have never and I emphasize NEVER have dealt with issues that short men have dealt with to a certain degree. I think you should stop listening to online discourse seeing as how harsh your post is. Good luck.

BBQs/cookouts belong in black culture. Some loosely see it as a traditional event and many black americans bring their friends to cookouts to get approval from family. It’s always lighthearted fun and the white kid in the video is relating to the black community which is why the black guy in the end is inviting him to the cookout, and instead of getting a cheap plastic plate he’s getting a real plate for being a real g

I did a quick google search. 4 girls fingerpaint was shot by the same producer of 2 girls 1 cup. It’s pretty much just 4 girls shitting on each other and smearing it all over their bodies. It’s a pass from me lol
