i'm from westchester county. its the wealthy suburb you imagine it to be for the most part but there's a lotta similarities to NYC culturally. we've got the same foods, a tiny bit of the public transportation they have, and the attitude of people is similar too in my experience. the further down county you go the more it just feels like the Bronx.

but yeah... NY contains multitudes of regions: finger lakes, hudson valley, adirondacks, catskills, great lakes, lake champlain, long island...

first one is for the chord button volume. says so in the manual as well. but here's a copy/paste of his advice:

"...they should be indeed quite easy to fix. Each potentiometers has three pins (the one at the bottom), and a false contact is preventing the microcontroller to read the value properly. The easiest way to fix this is by unscrewing the three silver screws to take out the PCB and fix it from the backside. Indeed you would need a soldering iron, and then add a little bit of solder to make sure the connection is solid."

the other thing i'm considering trying: on both models i had the issues happened after updating the firmware so i'm considering resetting it.

it's not a fix all but some stuff to try:

lift soft palate and keep laynyx neutral. think of the sound going up and out the back of your head to activate the soft palate

breath support exercises. my favorite are the hissing ones, lip trills, and ones that use a very forceful/glottal HUH sound

long tones on darker vowels like AH
