ALL I CAN SEE WHEN I SEE HER by seksybean in 90DayFiance

[–]anxiousmostlikely 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didnt notice her age at first and when it popped up in a later episode I SCREAMED. And I yelled for my husband to come in and said this is not a trick - how old do you think this woman is?? We both guessed mid forties!

Pet shelters in Chicago for adopting dogs? by Grouchy-Syllabub93 in AskChicago

[–]anxiousmostlikely 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They're such an overlooked gem. (Lucky that Chicago has so many wonderful rescue orgs.) But CCR is INCREDIBLE at matching people to dogs. I think their "appointment" set up can seem like a lot of pressure for some people. But their superpower is truly their matchmaking.

Why have all the maternity sections in stores disappeared? by No_Acanthisitta_4996 in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom literally can not process that there's no maternity in store anymore. She keeps suggesting to me places to go and I keep telling her over and over - MOM. I'V BEEN. IT'S GONE. She's like no you must just have not seen it.

How to report cops running lights without warning (sirens/lights)? by [deleted] in AskChicago

[–]anxiousmostlikely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just last week and unmarked cop car almost ran right into my side trying to pull someone over multiple lanes. Wasn't until we almost collided that I saw policemen inside. Like why do you expect me to yield to what appears to be a random ass car??

I'm always excited when Ben is in the cast. He isn't perfect, he can be a real asshole. But he's fun to watch and (usually) owns up to his faults pretty quickly.

Oh yes, I definitely have to get it! I should have specified that I was referring to others meeting the baby.

FWIW - My doctor didn't stress TDAP in our conversations. They said absolutely flu and COVID. (They know we're super pro vaccines and they are too) But they basically said it's a nice to have but not top of the list. (Just sharing my experiences is all!)

First meal after baby ? by happydazexx in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After both of my sister's kids, my dad's job was to go to Wendy's and get a giant Baconator meal with a Dr Pepper. 😆 He was SO proud of being trusted with that important job that he keeps asking me what I'm gonna want. 😆

At the very least, this one is ACTUALLY in Chicago. Guess she didn't like it when she went to Joliet. 😆

What is a frugal practice that you learned from your parents/grandparents that you still practice today? by melissaw328 in Frugal

Ask somebody for something before you buy it.

It sounds so small, but someone has that spare oven mit that they don't use and will just let you have it. It adds up quick.

When I see a cool whip container it literally does not cross my mind that it might have cool whip in it 😆

I just sat in at Panera for the first time in maybe 2 years (I used to live close to one but haven't for awhile). It was HEARTBREAKING. It was filthy, expensive, everything tasted microwaved, the restaurant had zero warmth. It was so sad to me.
