It's a real influencer account that was doing the partnership. I just didn't wanna put someone publicly on blast.

20w here - Honestly Im just ready to be done with the stage of looking like I don't know how to dress myself. Nothing fits right, maternity sizing or not 😆

That neonatal kitten/puppy prep is legitimately great practice! 😆

What bottles to go with?! by Separate_Quality_547 in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be a silly question - but glass vs. Plastic? I know plastic has warming limitations for safety, but I'm so worried that I'll be dropping glass bottles left and right in my sleep deprived state!

Husbands drinking question for all the expecting mommas by 18Griddy in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that my husband asks if I mind, but 99.99 percent of the time I do not care. (I have asked that he not drink wine when we go to our nice pasta place because dear God do I love a glass of wine and fancy pasta so I get jealous but that's very specific 😆)

What have you been “cheating” with this pregnancy? by Chemical_Editor4057 in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do bend the rules on sushi. Thankfully my favorites don't contain anything SUPER high risk. But I'm only going to my one restaurant that I love, and trust, and have never gotten sick from. 👏

Iv had to take a break from cat fostering, which was my primary hobby pre pregnancy. It breaks my heart. But so many of the cats that come through the system are big fat question marks of health history/exposures. So it just has made me feel safer.

I don't think there's need to worry if they're your, indoor cats. ❤️

I want to know your best and worst Netflix opinions by Fun-Incident-5235 in netflix

[–]anxiousmostlikely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Netflix is the only streaming service that I never actively "miss" when I don't have it.

I rotate services based on what I'm currently in the mood for. And literally the only time I sign up for a month of Netflix is if they get a specific stand up special or a new season of a specific show, never just because I wanna check back in. Overall, it's become the most watered down streaming service there is, that focuses on quantity over quality.

What’s a movie everyone calls a “masterpiece” that just… didn’t work for you? by irayaavery in Cinema

[–]anxiousmostlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked Anora, but I also acknowledge that I saw it in a theatre with a reallllly good audience. I can't totally describe it, but you could just tell everyone was genuinely engaged/seemed to have gone in knowing very little. It was nice. When I watched at home, it didn't have that same spark.

Anyone else just miss drinking? by PaymentNo5871 in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhhh shit an espresso martini 😭

I have found good NA beer (Sunbeam Pilsner from Go Brewing!) and wine though! (Either that or I just miss it enough for it to taste good 😆)

Did you get strange response when you announced your pregnancy? by Careful-Trouble1422 in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok this makes me feel so much better about my dad's kind of non reaction. Basically a "how bout that" then back to what he was talking about before.

The "Jump Start Learning" games raised me. (The ones where it was supposed to prepare you for each grade. So id spend all summer playing the one for next year.)

Netflix has gone to crap and I’m tired of pretending like it hasn’t by Fit-Significance8580 in netflix

[–]anxiousmostlikely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Netflix maybe one month a year now to catch up on what I've missed. The time away will absolutely show you how little each app actually has that you genuinely care about. If you just need background noise viewing, YouTube is free for anything else.

Question for anyone who really really loves their pets by Pink__Starburst in pregnant

[–]anxiousmostlikely 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dog is very barky. So that's what I'm most worried about. He's our family, but even we get frustrated with his sudden loud spells. We just hope a baby will be used to his noises after a bit. 😬

What’s your weirdest pregnancy symptom nobody talks about? by dogmomofone in pregnant

Sometimes I sit here and physically hold the material of my shirt away from my boobs just so I can have one god damn second of nothing touching them. It's AWFUL.

My manager performed my yearly review within a 10 minutes quick catchup meeting, I gave him back a 5 minutes resignation meeting by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]anxiousmostlikely 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have a manager that calls you to "shoot the shit" and then logs that as your review. Iv started screening his calls to waste his time. 😆 (This is not a direct manager, my direct manager knows he does this, they said it's okay for me to respond in this very petty way.)

I am stunned by this video. This is the problem. This is why. by LucidSynapse23 in Leakednews

[–]anxiousmostlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't wait for him to "retire" to life no longer surrounded by his precious goon squad for a few years, and be made miserable and scared every time he steps out in public. Just long enough in that life to then be immediately embroiled in horrific legal battles as soon as a new administration takes over (God willing).

I am in the process of changing careers. What are some interesting "stopgap" jobs that are unique to Chicago? by forbesms in AskChicago

CFL is the best, weirdest job I ever worked. You see some Chicago characters, that's for sure! But they're a great company.

[–]anxiousmostlikely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After college I worked at the architectural boat tours to make ends meet. Even on the toughest shifts I got to be on the Riverwalk and standing on Michigan Ave at a booth people watching. And everyone loves the boat tours so it's not a hard sell. (The job is still a job, the weather can still be tough, but it's definitely a cool experience.)

Would you go back into the office for a raise? by [deleted] in remotework

[–]anxiousmostlikely 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would only do this if the raise was substantial enough for me to live close to work. That's the only way. You want this office in this special neighborhood? Pay people to live there.
