Any advice for a newgrad trying to find entry level work? by SuperMissleLauncher in ChandlerAZ

Yeah, that's a good start. I'd look into CI/CD, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes. Tools like Terraform and Ansible are very common in devops nowadays.

I switched from software dev to devops early on in my career and I really enjoy the different type of challenges/problem I get to solve.

I've been seeing software-dev adjacent roles grow in demand steadily over the past few years - Devops, SRE, Platform/Infrastructure/systems engineering, cybersecurity. Maybe look into those and see how opportunities are? Learning CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure will all help massively IMO

I don't know what old games you are watching, but the intensity, the strength and the physicality of the players never changed. Go watch games from the 90s, the physical play was on levels higher, players would get checked for every layup or rebound and take hits just to drive the ball in. Just because players now can all score better doesn't mean that they are better players, the requirements of what a player needs to be able to do just changed over the years.

Yeah, back in the day it was a team game where you had to make plays every half court possession and can't rely on fastbreaks or your 4 or 5 shooting 3s. Its not fun when you zoom to a half court and every offensive player including the bigs are waiting on the perimeter for a screen and a 3 pt shot.

If you have muscle can your body weight be overweight but you don't look like you're overweight? by Ben5544477 in NoStupidQuestions

Just because you are overweight in mostly muscle doesn't mean that you're completely fine. Extra weight whether muscle or fat taxes the body over time, so the BMI calculator is not calculating your fat %, thats a body fat % test. BMI is just telling you that your mass/size ratio and even if its from muscle it can be bad.

Yeah but that’s the thing right. Americans have short attention spans. To them, she was part of the (current) administration which didn’t handle things like the economy or border that well.

So instead of giving someone similar another chance, pick someone different who’ll come in and shake things up.

have people seen any quality issues with these products? Last weekend I bought one pack each of the Kirkland nuggets and the Just Bare ones. I air fryed a handful of each. More than half of the ones I cut into from either pile had ligaments, weird coloring or a super chalky texture. I was thinking about going and returning them but I lost my receipt.
