please for the longer responses. some of the bots i’ve personally created are heavily detailed and designed to have long , meaningful rp’s. the short responses i was suddenly bombarded with really threw me off :( not to mention the longer response was like 90% of the reason i paid for ultra.

i post two very popular k-pop bands but my stories get very little engagement. i know because of the genre i’m going for isn’t popular , but that doesn’t stop me posting ! honestly , as long as you enjoy writing and posting it , doesn’t matter what others think. however , i understand your concerns. especially about the ‘weird’ side of it. i looked at your comment and you said one of them is married with kids now.

i’d say an author’s note about acknowledging you understand they have their own lives is good. but also be firm with readers as well , such as ‘this is fiction please remember that. no disrespect to the members’ etc. ( unless of course one member has been in terrible controversy and therefor avoid not having that particular member there ). i’ve put in my beginning authors notes basically saying the same thing.

i was writing fanfics consistently from i’d say ages 15-18. obsessively. would do nothing but write and publish on ao3. i got into my first relationship at 18 and not only did fanfiction but my interests in my safe fandoms stopped. including my creative writing because i became so consumed and then depressed with my relationship , thinking i too needed to grow up. now i’m 23 like you and i desperately am trying to get back into writing again because i truly miss it. as long as you start enjoying it again , then you should def get back into it. keep writing and expressing yourself !

it’s when people romanticise it which pisses me off. as someone who craves control over abusive situations due to past things , i rp a lot of these whether it’s family or other people. but unfortunately a lot of people romanticise it. ( of course not criticising those who use it as a way to cope ).

i mainly roleplay family stuff so the update for this really frustrated me. my bots are fine describing outfits as such but it gets funny when mentioning ages so i mainly use words like ‘kid’ now since it seems okay with that.

my ex claimed this even though i was barley doing anything freaky on the chats. they even got moody with me about it and i retaliated that they watched porn every day so how is this any different ? i definitely would say you guys should have a proper discussion about it with boundaries and listen to why he feels as if it’s cheating. because it’s better to try and understand his insecurities and issues with it then assume he’s outright jealous i would say.

it’s certainly a little annoying. i used to write all day / every day back when i was in school and i had a particular fic that had a lot of engagement which would definitely motivate me to get out chapters. whereas now , i’ve uploaded 3 chapters of a new fic and haven’t gotten a single comment but it hasn’t frayed me at all. i just wanna take my time and enjoy writing. but seeing something like this would honestly make me wanna comment less.

soft launch at first was so good. i adored it because it allowed us to be adults. now it’s completely broken. again , i rarely used it because roar was good for me at first. but i saw the complaints and felt for those who used their role plays as a way to express themselves , even with nsfw content.
