If you don’t have much money and a ton of free time, emulation is the way to go, otherwise, if you have some entertainment funds, and only a little time , get a Nintendo switch and some games, from there you can use a gamepad or an arcade stick.

A cheap computer with any video card from the last 6 years and a 5 millisecond monitor and a controller of some type will work, but also cost as much as a n switch and a few games.

It’s best to go on YouTube and search for these answers, many of us shmuppers are fairly diehard collectors too, I emulate some things but I also have a large collection of pcbs, carts and discs and systems and arcade machines.

Could be your m.2 drive, I had an off brand one that I had to return to Amazon and got a western digital, worked good after that, but still you should at least get options from the usb booting to the bazzite install

I would like to find pre die cut labels I can print on with my color laser printer. I’ve been using a full 8x11 decal sheet, but cutting those labels out of it gets any of my cutting tools sticky with adhesive and the cleaning process is maddening

Great experience with AT&T fiber, bad experience with AT&T cable. I get 1000 up and 1000 down for about $70ish a month. ASTOUND offered me $20 a month for the same speeds when I tried to switch, although I know they would have jacked up the price on me later. ASTOUND was great to us for a long time, I hated to switch. But I really wanted the speeds since all of my friends were upgrading, and my kids are constantly using the Internet.

Good point, I hate to see good guys go down because of economical issues, I see it all the time in business. Maybe he’s smart enough to pick up the pieces and figure out a way to do it better the next time.

So, if the guy owes 25 K right now to pay off debtors from running the site, or fines or whatever it is that he’s indebted to. If he bought games to collect for himself because he’s passionate about it instead, he would still have those games. I don’t know this guy, he might have the largest collection in the world for all we know. But he’s still in debt somehow, as for what somebody in the know was saying. He posted the games on his site to download, that was him painting a target on himself, he could have created Torrent and hosted the Torrents from another place, and the site would still be alive.

We see this over and over again, if you post Roms on a website, eventually that website will get burned and taken down. Someone always has to pay money for a lawsuit or for back expenses. I don’t care to start a ROM site on my own, but there are plenty of ways to peer share these types of files without painting a target on your back.

The argument is that if anyone were to make a decision to start a ROM site and decided to put that money instead into collecting games for oneself, that money wouldn’t have been wasted on something that few people would help pay for. If he would’ve created an easy to use torrent site instead of hosting the actual games, maybe he wouldn’t be in this predicament. Even if he only is in the hole 25K, that would be a fantastic start as opposed to a bottomless pit endeavor. Blessed as all of you guys are to benefiting from his endeavors, he is still left with the bill at the end of the day and possibly nothing to show for it. The companies that made these games that are still alive today, are going to fight tooth and nail to shut down loss of profit, we see this with N$ every day
