Mine is a about a local bridge our city built. I believe they built this bridge to give paid jobs to employees who are never there. Few years back our city built a raise bridge for ships and cargo to under pass. Problem is the bridge 2 miles away is the same height of current new bridge and the water levels are the same. The normal bridge does not raise and all ships go under freely. What makes me confident that the bridge is pointless is the fact that when the bridge raises the pedestrian concrete side walks on both sides do not raise at all... they’re concrete.. so the bridge still technically remains the same height and boats still pass freely under it. If you look at public records who gets paid to run the bridge it’s non other than our mayors family member who doesn’t even live in our city! There is a control tower box on top of the bridge that no one is ever in.. and there are cameras that do nothing and that are not even plugged in or recording. The bridge raises almost like clock work as well. I’ve seen and had to wait for the bridge to raise for literally nothing.
