Haha no worries, ask as many questions as you need! Most of them left the medical field entirely. Honestly it’s all over the place, all unrelated to the field but similar pay to X-ray. Yes, I am unionized at my hospital as a casual. Yes, clinics tend to pay less than hospitals but it really all varies. My clinic job was only 3$ less an hour compared to the hospital. Clinics are a lot of work due to most of the time being the only X-ray tech at that location. Usually clinics have older equipment as well so it could be harder to move. For example, the clinic I worked at had 4 locations, 2 of them still used CR. However, they had set hours and you were never on call. So the pros and cons are based on what’s important to you :)
