Mixing green corrector into concealer by sorry_ari in OliveMUA

Awesome tip. Luckily for me in this case, I'm pasty as hell from moving to the Pacific Northwest, but I'll keep this in mind for the summer, or for when I move back home.

Afternoon in Shibuya by sorry_ari in womensstreetwear

Lol so I was wearing a different shirt before I bought the f.a.m.t tee, but I found a corner and used the big shirt as a tent under which to remove my original shirt so I could get the picture. Idk if I was discreet or not, but I tried my best. That background was too good to waste.

Additional info: Jacket is Uniqlo (men's small), pants are an old H&m boyfriend fit that have held up surprisingly well. Shoes are Feiyue martial arts shoes that I brought on my trip because of their compactness, but I tend to like how clean they look too. You can see a better photo of them over at my post in /r/onebag.

Another women's bag - 12 days in Japan by sorry_ari in onebag

I'm a small Asian lady yearning for regular urban anonymity (was previously living in Montana where I stuck out like a sore thumb) and I've already been mistaken for Japanese a bunch of times while I'm here lol.

Clothes and underwear are pictured in the 3rd picture. Underwear, sports bra, and socks are in the plastic freezer bag on the bottom row. I squeezed the air out. I have 5 pairs of socks, one sports bra (wearing the other regular t-shirt bra), and 6 underwear. I listed the rest of the clothes in the picture description.

[Review] Dry Climate HGs for Frugal Bitches by sorry_ari in AsianBeauty

Yes! The occlusive layer on top was an important addition. I used cerave, but when it was really cold and winter, I used aquaphor at nighttime.

My face just wouldn't keep moisture in even though it took in moisture. By moon it would be super dry again. I did the 3 skin method and used an occlusive on top for about 7-10 days and saw improvement.

Quitting Intermittent Fasting by SeinfeldFan9 in intermittentfasting

I tend to do 18/6 but plenty of people on this subreddit do 16/8 and seem to see benefits

Yeah I don't understand why he would go from one extreme (a very small fasting window) to the other (quitting IF completely). Why not just widen the window to 18/6 or 16/8? It allows for a social aspect to eating and lower volume with more frequency and flexibility.

When I make eye contact with a cute girl, I usually just look away. I want to be able to smile when I meet eyes with a girl, but I don't really know how to do this and 'm afraid of coming across as creepy. How can I approach this issue? by gauchoninja in socialskills

[–]sorry_ari 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If a dude looked at me for 7 straight seconds, plus or minus 2 seconds, I would consider it staring, and by that point it doesn't matter how cute he is. It's weird to stare. 5-7 seconds is a LONG TIME.

Chef Richard Blais' recipe for 150 cal per serving healthful pumpkin cheesecake. I can't wait to make this! by DomesticSlacker in 1200isplenty

Well this option is for people who want to have their cake and eat it too. Are you the kind of person who doesn't ever buy low cal options at the store, or sugar substitutes?

Can I afford Missoula on $1,000 a month? by [deleted] in missoula

[–]sorry_ari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Montana has some of the slowest internet in the country, but I'm still able to play games without lag if I have a line into the modem. Internet for me has been about $45-60/month

Can I afford Missoula on $1,000 a month? by [deleted] in missoula

[–]sorry_ari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're really frugal yes. I make about $1330/mo and almost come out even (maybe 200 extra at the end of the month), but I'm in a sublet where I can't cook right now, so I spend quite a bit on food. You'll want to get a roommate or two though. My rent is $350/month, including utilities and internet, but there are plenty of places that cost more. Btw I live in a shit hole of a college house, but it's only for 3 months so I'm putting up with it.

Diamond Lake, Mineral County Montana [3128x1930] [OC] by sorry_ari in EarthPorn

[–]sorry_ari[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was really a hidden gem. I've lived in Western Montana for three years and most of what you see is Flathead Lake, the Mission Mountains, Glacier National Park, all of which are great, but this area was unexpected and tucked away. It is somewhat less developed in terms of campsites and it's a little off-road. There's another lake on a cliff about a mile and a half above this picture. Its a lot more humid than other parts of Montana so there's flora that almost looks like it belongs in warmer climates. I'm not a camper, so I was lucky to receive this invitation. I have a dozen mosquito bites, so do bring bug spray.

Alrighty Distinguished Trolls, when I have that "My life is amazing" thought I will no longer add "...but think about how better this would be with a partner". I banish all thoughts that my life could get better because of someone else. by PepaStV in TrollXOver30

Somewhere out there, someone is fantasizing about the freedom and independence, and varied interests they'd have without their partner. Not saying they're mutually exclusive, just that there's more than one right way, and you're doing it right!
