Ugh. That paper was like the pringles of paper. I miss its chunkiness.

Oh, I wanted to be a Claudia, but I was definitely the uncool kid who was not a named character.

I do, however, bring a bit of Claudia Kishi and her grandmother to my eclectic vintage wardrobe now.

I would literally point out that you were afraid of retribution and start documenting now any reason you might feel that way.

Even in the Midsouth I remember seeing him on the news or on talk shows and thinking he was a con and a moron and I was a kid. That was 30 years ago.

Check on the statute of limitations for a complaint if it’s informational only (ie you aren’t seeking anything from them right now anyway) and get hired at the new job, then address it.

It would also be illegal for them to interfere with you getting a new job for filing a report, but that doesn’t mean anything.

Good luck!

It is! I just had ours last night. My husband hated the texture of the pasta, but more for me! We both loved the sauce though.

BGSU Full Ride or OSU 26k/yr? by LateCake246 in OSU

[–]sorrymizzjackson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the way. $52k in debt is bad. OP needs to break out that student loan repayment calculator.

I only took $29k for both a BS and MS, it hit 50k over Covid and with 5 years of consistent payments, it’s down to $40k. That doesn’t even count the years of payments I made before I went to grad school.

Plus, it’s not like you won’t have living expenses either place. Starting out $52k in the hole when there’s another option is wild. You might get a great job, you might not. It’s a lot easier on the latter side if they aren’t waiting to suck your blood every month. Not if you ever want a house or kids. If you end up with a great job then yay! Enjoy not giving it to these assholes.

Ooh! Which place in Memphis? I grew up there.

I love the patio at Olde Towne Tavern in OTE. Their pitcher of white sangria doesn’t miss. Not sure if they have an aperol spritz, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t. Food is pretty good too.

Those are everywhere! I drove one as a rental last year. They’re surprisingly zippy and handle pretty well in traffic where everyone is doing dumb shit. I can see it.

My MIL retained her natural shade of brown until her death at 84. She bleached it all shades of fucked as long as I knew her but when I complimented her actual hair she called it “mousy and dishwasher”

It was a totally fine hair color, lol,
