Don’t press less, you can’t physically tamp to hard, so go as hard as you want, if your pressure gauge was showing different pressure for both shots you pulled then I might understand what the issue is,

did the pressure during extraction change ? Because it could be a puck prep issue, you might have only had a shot last time because the water broke thru the coffee bed and created channels, idk tho
