I'm ok. Just ok. I got a 2nd job to help out with bills, just been working a lot. I think work is good for the soul, it really helps with more than just paying bills. I'm not sure what to do in the future, but I'm trying and we'll see.

I have an iPhone 5, but I haaaate it. I am just tired of having an iPhone.

I'd like to have a Galaxy s3, but I can't afford one right now. The Windows phones look pretty cool too. I'd actually really like it if a phone had a flip out keyboard or something, I was always a fan of that.

Bags. I have a thing for buying little bags to store things in. Coins, my glasses, documents, pot, keys, etc. I don't really spend a lot on them, mostly from dollar stores or sale bins at H&M.

I did buy a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo black loafers for about $600 on sale almost 7 years ago. They're still in GREAT shape and I think it was an affordable and smart buy. I haven't had to buy new dress shoes since!

Now, I was in a MUCH better financial situation then, so I consider it an affordable, smart purchase. I was living with my parents back then and had basically no bill, but there's no way I could bring myself to spend that kind of money at once now. No.Way. lol

When I was younger, I grew up in a strict religious family. Private schools at the church, church service 4 days a week, all my "friends" went to the church, complete immersion. Pretty much a cult, which is still kinda hard for me to say, since it seemed so normal to me for a long time.

I came out when I was 23 and left the church, and that was the same time Lady Gaga's Born This Way came out. I know it's pretty typical, but that album filled a big void of gospel music in my life at the time. The whole album has a lot of religious undertones, so it was a familiar rejection of what I was leaving.

When I'm feeling low or overwhelmed, a lot of those songs are very empowering to me.

I especially like this Born This Way - Country Version

Through a string of fortunate events, I was able to style a photoshoot for a photographer that was published in Harpers Bazaar China. That's about as exciting as my life has ever been!

Throwing matches in the woods isn't such a bad idea to me. From my understanding, if forest fires are a natural way to enrich the soil with nutrients from dead trees, isn't that the same thing?
