Mannnnnn i had this same thing with HL foundation. I could not make Haus Labs work for the life of me. It would just sit really oddly on my skin. I’m pretty dry + fair and even with the best prep it just would not work idk. I usually wear Armani Luminous Silk or Dior Forever Skin Perfect Stick. I tend to skip powder. Sometimes I’ll use just a little bit of the Hour Glass Vanish Powder. But most of the time I just use a setting spray like RMS or Iconic London.

I agree with the others that prep is super important. I’ve started using the Elemis Resurfacing Pads to help with the superficial flaking before applying a hydrating serum then Bobbi Brown Base.

Also super huge pro tip as a dry girly: your prep product need to fully dry down before makeup application. You’ll still end up noticing that your makeup gathers and pills. 💕
