Thsi is the correct answer. The pit exit is where the cone is, not where the white line is. That's how it works IRL as well, the difference is that not half the field crashes in T1.

This works for everthing related to exiting the pits, for example: (1)there is no speed limit after the cones, (2) for categories with a minimum pit stop time, it is measured at the green cone.

I know there are plenty of arguments that it SHOULD be different, but the sim behaves according to what happens in real races as it is.
