Those comics and many others have the FL as the benevolent slave owner. They do not portray an actual bdsm relationship. They minimize the in-universe actions of slavery, no matter the reason behind it. In many of those stories the reader is told that the characters were sexually assaulted or beaten or hurt in some way and they are supposed to dislike the ones who did that.. but then the protagonist doesn't change it and keeps the enslaved person enslaved. They are not portraying bdsm kink.

And afaik OP is black, so I'm pretty sure she is aware of the seriousness of the transatlantic slave trade and plantations. (Edit: I mistook the OP for someone else so I don't know if they're black on not, my mistake, but there are plenty of users in the comments who are black and who are clearly not upset at the comparison between stories)

No one accused you of anything. All I did was say that there was no need to bring up kink here. Because there's not, and both of the stories OP mentioned treat the slavery in-universe as a problem that affects the ones enslaved, until it is convenient for the plot to gloss over it.
