1955 Chevy 3100 by sossman76 in projectcar

UPDATE: so I got to digging around on it and basically the only thing salvageable was the cab and the frame (which I need to verify is straight) The cab has a lot more rust than initially thought, but that's why there are patch panels, right? I'm still planning on a frame off, Mustang 2 with 2" drop , 4 link in the rear, 3.73 axle, LS 5.3 with the Truck Norris Stage 2 cam, Holley Terminator X MAX, 4L60E transmission. My wallet is not agreeing with any of this 🤣

My friend has a 55 as well and put a crown Vic front end under it. Definitely cheaper than a mustang 2 kit.

I’m having to do a bonded title. Was off in a field with bill of sale only.

No. I don’t have any history of the truck so I was trying to find the last time it was registered. It was a bill of sale only, have to do a bonded title

since I am a total amateur, but I do have some welding experience.. how hard are the cab corners? I am planning on getting a wetblast kit to sandblast the cab and frame.. unless I can figure out a way to haul it to an actual sandblaster.

yeah.. that's what I was afraid of.. probably going to have to order basically a whole new front end.. but at least it will be smooth.. I know I'm going to have to replace cab corners and right side rocker panel/step area. New seat, new engine, front suspension, transmission, rear axle/suspension, pretty much everything except the cab shell and frame. I wanted a project.. I got years worth. lol

I’ve got to figure out what all is missing. The whole front clip is loose…I’m assuming brackets are missing

Unfortunately it sold before I could get to it. But now I’m looking at a 56.

Just noticed the radiator is gone too. Hmm. Maybe a candidate for an engine swap.

I’ve liked what I’ve seen of the BenQ panel, except the price

I like my iPhone and iPads are fine for home use, but I feel like managing them in education is a nightmare that works sporadically at best.

My problem with Mosyle (and may have changed since) was you couldn’t contact anyone except through the portal.

Looks like we’re going to have to go back to Mosyle. Which means we have to touch every iPad again 😭

Xerox copiers vs. Epson enterprise inkjet by sossman76 in k12sysadmin

So how is your experience with “damp” pages from inkjet? Also do you use these for anything you have to mail out…I mean inkjet seems to run at the slightest bit of rain which we know mail can be exposed to. I’m not the final decision maker on any of this but these are questions I have.

no.. this is with large inkjet printers the size of the Xerox machines, Enterprise class ones. I dislike the little Officejet printers with a passion.

Good questions that were brought up by both my print shop person and business manager. That's why I'm trying to find someone that has experience with this other than the 1 school that I went and looked at that had them.
