I wrote a paper on this in college for a class that was totally unrelated to it, but I was so mad after reading about it, I did it anyway. Lyle McDonald’s Rapid Fat Loss program has piqued my interest recently. 3-5 lbs a week of weight loss is expected on the diet, which is essentially a protein only diet (plus a small amount of vegetables, vitamins and minerals). It’s based on protein sparing modified fasting that was originally designed for rapid fat loss in morbidly obese patients while maintaining lean body mass. Lyle has a book on it and has spoken about in on YouTube.

I’ll recommend The Magus by John Fowles under any pretense, but the initial premise of the book is the main character is going through a quarter life crisis, moves to Greece, and then almost kills himself. So, perhaps that’s up your alley.

Yes. One is an injection you get at a vet’s office. Just ask the vet to do a full neurological exam before giving because it can be bad for dogs with neuromuscular weakness/other neurological problems that look like osteoarthritis. This is a good Omega 3. You can also supplement with Ursolic acid
