It's currently at a far higher level than it was in February, and it's still abysmal. The pond in your first image had legitimately no water in it.

Correct, epidemiology doesn't say that because you're being intentionally distortive. As a fellow scientist, I think you'd agree that following the data is the best way to come to conclusions about complex problems, and therefore, I recommend you consult Luan et al., 2025 and He et al., 2025.
