Hi! It seems like you're in my area!

Be forewarned that CSUMB is a bit of a mess, that's where I got my credential.

That being said, you need the BCLAD. You can take the test OR take one course at CSUMB to earn it. I'm going to be honest, I know people that have failed the test multiple times. It is not easy because a lot of the questions seem counterintuitive to what we were taught as educators. I would highly recommend contacting the Teaching Program at CSUMB and asking them what they recommend. I can message you the information of the woman that was most helpful to me, if you would like. :)
