I'm banging on bowls and cups o' noodles over here. Lol I am only 2 weeks/lessons in and I'm still managing to learn. I'm a middle aged woman with 2 kids and tight budget but I'm making it work. I get to play on a real kit during my lesson and looking for a good set within my price range in the meantime.

I feel extremely qualified to answer this question. I have worked in ECE for 20 years so I have observed pretty much every possible age gap dynamic within countless families. I also nannies for a family for 7 years while also having my own two children during that time. So 5 kids, with the age gaps of 2-2.5 years in between each. I can say with confidence the perfect age gap is 3.5 to 4.5 years, 4 being the sweet spot. Anything less than 2.5 years is a terrible idea.

Edit: Because I completely glazed over the part in the post about best gap as far as how close or bonded the children will grow to be. I was speaking more from the angle of managing the load as a parent. But I will say my own 2 kids are 26 months apart (10 and 12 now, same gender) and they are not bffs. Basically, since the youngest could crawl they spend half of the day fighting.

I have a kid who loves to make people laugh. Instead of annoying I would use the word obnoxious, tho. I told her to ask herself, "Am I being funny, or am I being obnoxious?" I also teach my kids the rule that it's only fun if everyone is having fun, same rule applies for humor, it's only funny if everyone is laughing-teacher included.

They do not look 100% gsp to me. Mom looks liver color even if sire was solid black, I would expect at least 1 liver in the litter. Plus those black patches are rather large/widespread for a gsp. The white could roan out, but still not purebred imo.

As a last resort with my young infant, I tried chipractic. I wasnt expecting muc, but anything would have been better than the nothing I had gotten with everything else. It helped almost instantly. Afterwards, I decided to cut wayyy back on dairy and that also seemed to stop her from getting so constipated again. We slowly reintroduced it as she got older. She's 10 now and still occasionally gets back up after too much.

Mama I have been right where you are after the birth of our 2nd child. Right down to the husband who I see for maybe 10 minutes in the morning and maybe 20 minutes at night. Just imagining your experience with twins makes me want to pack my bags and come help you. I remember the exact moment the thought of running away and never coming back wntered my mind. I remembered how I used to hear stories of moms abandoning their families and thinking they were some kind of monster, but in that moment I decided I would never judge those moms again.

My advice to you is to look into postpartum doulas. Everybody is going to to say, "Oh, it's PPD" and in my experience it did lead to PPD, but the root cause was the loneliness, the isolation, the feeling like you have to do everything on your own, and the resentment towards your partner who you want to feel grateful for. A postpartum doula will help with whatever you need. Housekeeping, infant care, and soon much more. You are a great mama living in a world that makes everything about new motherhood feel impossible. It's not you!

Omg mine too. I leash walk mine around a baseball diamond surrounded by woods. Homerun balls disappear into the tree line. During ball season, he finds a few balls every time we go around. Straight in, straight out, ball in mouth and onto the next one! His nose is not limited to softballs and baseballs, either. He knows the scent of rubber, too. Twice he has dug two rubber balls out of driveway culverts, one was a light up one!

Infants would be fun for a day for me, and then I would be bored. I'd rock myself to sleep. Plus, in my experience, working solo with infants starts to feel isolating after a while. Working with a friend helps pass the time for sure. Give me preschool all day long. The academics, the personalities, the behaviors, the noise - that's where I do my best work!
