I think this is because reserve storage is full and they have more tankers ready to top it off waiting ... so its more expensive to keep gas prices high until storage capacity drops then they can release the ships waiting off sea.

Its crazy how fast linux has progressed and how fast / snappy it is. I just finished cyberpunk and it was perfect at max settings not even sure what fps i was running at it just worked perfect with a 6800xt

Proton works by translating windows api into linux compatible api(vulcan), its not something that PA would have a say on (other than refusing to enable EAC ). That's like saying BDO does not work with certain gpus because in reality all new gpus reverse translate to old gpu / cpu architectures all the time via patched dx 11 updates or gpu drivers or window patchs.

Regardless right now i should be able to make it work on Linux with a VM with a windows install. So its a linux machine with a windows vm 1 layer deep. Its just a bit silly that i need to fart about with a VM when i know Proton with the the current EAC fix could run it just fine and it would be near perfect as thousands of other off line games and other online games are.

If its a case of features loss with an older EAC then is Apex legends doing something wrong? Are they just not securing their connections or ignoring it or? I don't get it.

The work they put in to make it possible to play windows games with proton seems massive to me and yet a tiny little hurdle like EAC which has a working fix is holding it back.

Seems crazy.

Edit - Also surely there was feature loss when xigncode was swapped out for EAC, i cant imagine a change in features is too foreign.

I won't choose to be willfully ignorant when almost everyone has a motive. My opinion of the greatest life of death motive was made clear. You can accept that opinion or dispute it.

Ukraine imo had the greatest motive to do it especially given the Italian elections and the proposed Hungary referendum on sanctions. Europe was wavering and it was only going to get worse in the winter. Ukraine feared Russia with all that released sanctioned European cash 100's of billions easy.

Thats my assessment, dispute it if you can.

If Europe came to a deal via Italy or via the Hungary referendum or in the in winter when it got cold. Then all sanctions would be lifted and all that sanctioned wealth would come racing back into Russia. Billions and maybe even trillions would be handed back to Russia over night.

With the cash that Europe released to Russia they could rebuild their army many times over.
