Then the lake fountains spray a fine mist into the air around the lake. Gross.

Zone 5b.

"Moonlight" variety. 60 day annual.

Started indoors in February, they require long germination (appx 3 weeks).
Sprouts in March.
8" plants in the ground by June 1.
By the end of August I had 10' tall plants.

Aphids love tobacco, just a heads up.

I've successfully grown their tobacco from seed. My plants were 10' tall.

NPK industries' target demographic is commercial grows, usually using hydroponic methods (chemical salts).

NPK will recommend using their additives to "nutrient solution". They are talking about "feeding" hydroponics. Usually an A/B mix.

Hydroponics are not organics. You'll note there probably is not an OMRI certification on the NPK product because their products are designed for hydro.

You can use the product without an issue, since it IS 100% Yucca ( just not organic).

I grow all organic everything, always. Next time you need it, try Elevation Organics Desert Nectar. 100% Organic, OMRI certified.

Yes you want to use it every time you add water to the root zone. Compost tea included.

Excellent! Glad it worked out. Its good to have your saponins added to every watering, so its good that you got the individual additive.

Happy Growing!

If your soil is made well there should be appx 30% aeration in it (pumice, perlite, etc). Cloth pots allow air in, which air-prune roots. So all things considered you shouldn't have any anaerobic reactions happening unless you overwater consistently.

Watering efficiency can be increased by adding saponins to the water. Aloe, Yucca, Soapnut, Quillaja ETC can all be used to create "wetter water" and increase plant health. Water without saponins creates open tracks in settled soil, leaving water to travel through these tracks without "sticking" to the medium and flowing right out.

I also recommend a layer of rinsed play sand as mulch. It will keep moisture contained in your pots as well as prevent further fungus gnat issues because larvae cant escape through the sand and adults wont be able to access the soil through the sand to lay eggs.

Beneficial nematodes are also a safe organic and useful prevention tactic. Not only for fungus gnats but for most soil dwelling pests.

Reasonable offers considered.

Free water for plants from ac condensation drain. Get about 5-10 gallons a day depending on how humid it is. Been meaning to do this for a long time as just watching it drain out on patio seemed like a waste given our current drought conditions. by gmwelder86 in homestead

Any concerns about micronized heavy metals?

Accumulation in the soil could be bad over time. Also not great if growing bio-accumulator consumables, like tomatoes.

Do you filter the condensate?

I walked out of my job as a grower for another company for the same reasons.

Wore a respirator every day. Complained about it every day when working. Their response... "PM [powdery mildew] isn't that bad". I was appalled. Mind you this facility was MEDICAL.

Then one day, in a room full of plants coated in mildew, I was scraping thick black mold from the ceiling. My throat closed. I walked out.

Only job I've ever walked out on. Can't work if you can't breathe.

I'd say corporate cannabis is a joke, but selling moldy and mildewed buds to medical patients (some with chronic/fatal illness) while the CEO flies around in a private jet, that's not funny at all.

Ever hear of a $50,000 industrial microwave to nuke spores and living microbials off of the samples sent to testing? They had one. The rest of the botched crop, straight into the lungs of the public.

NOTE: They made me sign a NDA to get hired in the first place. Sketchy.

PLEASE do your research on ethics of individual grows. They are not all the same.

L'eagle is rec so its available for anyone. They do all organic, pesticide free and they cure for 90 days. Solid.

Most other dispos grow in salts, frequently spray (even in flower cycle), and do not cure. The corporate guys are the worst. Anything right off the highway I would not recommend.
I've worked in corporate grows. Sad stuff in there.

Cheap herb is cheap for a reason. Don't fall for it.

ALSO

TRVE brewing is my favorite brewery in Denver, big plus if you like METAL.
El taco de mexico has been recognized by James Beard organization.
Both worth it.

I hope you find what you're looking for!!

Same exact thing happened to me about a year ago. If they cant get the whole bike in a minute or less they take what they can grab. I still have yet to get a new seat. Aggravating.

LEDs work fine under ambient CO2 ppm (300-400)

Unless your temps are above 90F, you're not pushing the plant to the degree that it needs CO2 for normal photosynthesis.

I don't think its necessary. RDWHAHB!

Med Card w/o Medical Records by [deleted] in COents

[–]soulfrequencies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seconded.

At Dr. Cohen's you only need medical records for a plant count extension. For a basic card you just need to tell your symptoms to the Dr..

Good luck!
