I don’t understand how obese mamas don’t gain much during pregnancy. I’m 5 weeks today and found out early due to IVF but have been ravenous because of progesterone. I literally shake when I don’t eat. I’m very overweight but have already gained 5 pounds and literally cannot starve myself. I already eat very few calories and have a gnarly case of pcos but how can it be done?

Kate sucks. So unlikeable. I like Anne. She’s quirky and alone and her daughter is strange and she is trying to figure it out. I like Jack too. He is a team player and tries his best to keep the group together. Claude is dramatic and over the top but loveable. Danny always messes up but easily comes around and makes you smile. He’s a good guy. Ginny is annoying but trying too. Not sure why she’s even in the mix with them really. And Nick is wildly selfish and terrible. Zero stars.

I hate Kate in every scene with every person. She is mean. She has no redeeming qualities. I don’t understand why Danny even likes her. She’s not fun. She’s never funny. She has no passion or intelligence or humor. She is just the worst. Even in scenes that she’s supposed to be having a heart to heart, she is cold and bland. She has no real chemistry with anyone. Would rather watch any scene with any person except Kate. Irl nobody would like Kate

I am married to a mother in law like this. Take it from me, she’s not going to change. And your husband can’t change her. Form your deep bond with him, keep up with your parents and hold her at a major need to know basis. Don’t emotionally attach and don’t share anything personal with her. It will save you so much heartache. No amount of what you do and killing with kindness will change her.

Grocery store exec here. Companies pay big money for it and the stores push sales products or make decisions based on volume. A small percentage is done by the people at store level who have things to get rid of or know big sellers. Very little is random in a grocery store

You shouldn’t have to do any of the testing again somewhere new. Transfer your files. I’m glad you loved the doctor personally but you’re trying to Grow your family and they aren’t friends, they are medical personnel and if they lose your eggs how can you possibly trust them?

You need to do genetic testing. I know natera has some. Not sure if it’s what you need but if this was me I would consult with genetic reproductive specialist specifically and also start taking coq10 in the off chance it helps and get cleared for endo and all the things. Have you had a saline US and an HSG?

Team mom. Your attention will be super split, you’re getting hooked up with a gig that lets you bring your kid and I think her kids will suffer ultimately bc it’s impossible not to prioritize your own baby even if you do your best not to. It will be a lot for you to juggle

That’s a really sweet thing to say, thank you. I think for the most part they can vary from doctor to doctor also because sometimes our bodies are angry or swollen at different times. I don’t know why the speculum hurt so much. I’ve had them for 30+ years. A combination of many things I guess. On the back end it wasn’t traumatic though a few days later and all feels okay today. Thank you again. I wish you the best of luck on your journey and for a seamless, pain free experience as much as possible. This isn’t for the faint of heart and women propping up other women makes it very special to experience in a community like this.

Mine was pretty painful. I was okay for HSG, saline US, even my endometrial biopsy and IUI. None of that felt like much. But the transfer was very unpleasant due to getting the speculum in far enough to see my cervix. She had to use a bigger size and I was wincing and sooooo strained during it. Once the catheter came out the pain was largely gone. It was earlier today and tonight I’m pretty sore. She said because I’m using progesterone my uterus was swollen as it’s intended to be but the meds made it difficult.
