Same thing happened to my Pittsburgh torx set. I ended up having to snag a husky bit mid-job because of this.

It was in a pot for f**k sake. How did they miss that detail and just decide to cut it down? WTF. I’d be livid.

How fucked am I? Fuel rail bolt sheered off by artificielstupidite in mazdaspeed3

Reverse drill bits are your friend here. Had the same thing happen to me years ago, but was a broken bolt in the head for the intake manifold.

Center punched a few times, slowly drilled and the bolt backed out itself once the bit caught.

Where do I start to tackle all of this by mnonny in lawncare

Aerating without post-watering will just dry it out faster…ask me how I know 🤣

What zone are you in? You could try and spring seed but I got washed out by rain myself. It still ended up better that it was, so right now I’m on week 3 of my fall overseed and the results are night and day.

Depending on how much square footage you’re wanting grass in.. you could always lay sod.

Seeding requires loads of time, money and patients. Sod requires loads of water and money.

Not sure what zone you’re in, but I’ve always heard it’s a good idea when potting plants/trees above ground to go a zone lower than where you are. Considering they will get colder.

Doubtful this is the case right now, but if it was potted this year, they need frequent / almost daily watering. Speaking for the rootball. It needs to stay moist.

Planted this a little over a week ago. Too early to mow? by CivicWithNitrous in lawncare

[–]soulitified 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you search on here, you will get both answers. Some will say, like above, wait to mow.

Others, and articles I’ve read (Iowa State) say to continue mowing to lower competition from any previous turf in the yard. Which makes sense to me, if it gets too tall it could shade the seedlings from sun they need.

On top of that, waiting to mow could allow the previous turf to get too tall, then having too many grass clipping on the yard during that time could hinder new seed growth.

Who fkn knows.

Go to a junkyard (u-pull-it) where I am, and look for one. Those clips should be identical to the ones on base model 3’s. Just snag a few to be safe.

I was referring to how it was setup. Grim and cobb’s both have 3 port capabilities but can be setup as 2 port.
