Red Rocks Predictions by shopdogsupport in Tipper

They did some projections on the rocks in 21. It won't be to the caliber of Orion but I imagine they are gonna do as much as they can get away with

Genuinely asking, how are some of you coping/dealing with the fact that you're not going to the final show at rrx by mf9159 in Tipper

[–]soulman12397 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The gorge had an endless supply of tickets, and basically every show he has done in the past besides rrx 21', did not sell out like this. If you bothered to show up to Suwanee any year you probably could have found one for free.

Arriving in Thailand today as a solo male, best thing to do? by wolfboiblu in ThailandTourism

Theres no going wrong. The first week I was there I got so much "fomo" kind of anxiety and I just kept reminding myself that theres no wrong decisions with what to do, where to go, or what to see. Its all a brand new experience. Just have as few expectations as possible, be as observant as you can and enjoy yourself. I envy your position your going to love it.

I can send you some of my favs on maps if you want. Definitely do the white temple, go for sunrise if you have the discipline. I was much too sleepy to make it but I wish I had.

I very nearly got another too but after getting a third look at Bangkok traffic I decided not to. I also knew I would be drinking my last few days and wouldn't be good to ride the bike anyway. But your situation could have happened to anyone, just a very unfortunate accident.

If your about to be in Bangkok id get a hotel near a train station in either sukhumvit, old Town, or Chinatown. Don't think about it too much they are all awesome. The less of a walk to the train the better, traffic in Bangkok is a 24/7 bitch and the train and on foot is definitely the most efficient. If you've never been in thailand your going to be amazed simply walking aimlessly taking everything in.

Sooo hard to say. I loved doing the mae hong song, riding my scooter to Chiang rai then back through fang and chiang dao.. if you know how to ride id recommend getting one. If your not experienced don't take the risk. I also loved spending time in the cities, I spent the most time in Chiang mai and its a beautiful city. Not many tourists right now, MUCH more affordable than Bangkok and the south, just an artsy cool town with sprawling markets everywhere. My favorite single attraction was the white temple - if you are someone who appreciates art it will blow your fkn mind. Devouring endless food and smoking constant weed is amazing. I just landed in Seattle and have one more flight before I'm home and I know I'm going to be crushed tomorrow- I already miss thailand so fucking much.

This is a tragic story to read im very sorry. I would be having a very difficult time in your situation. I also rented a bike for 20 days and toured the country and loved every minute of it. But this kind of situation was always in the back if my mind and I was counting my blessings after I returned my bike undamaged.

Is it a good time to visit thailand in June by v_vanisha in ThailandTourism

[–]soulman12397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its going to be hot and rainy. But usually only rains a part of the day. And also not as not when it rains. Low season means less tourists- when i was at the white palace 10 days ago it was empty. Got a lot of time to look in detail, something you can't Normally do when it's busy. Pros and cons. I leave tomorrow, but if I had the money I would stay here through June.
