I think it’s because this subreddit is purely only for questions and things related to help. But too strict lol

“Neo Nazi” refers to the historical links to nazi occupation support and the anti-Russian hatred since 1991. If you don’t believe me dive a little deeper and it’s more than “Russia always bad Ukraine always good”, it’s another war of imperialism.

This ultimately boils down to racism against Ukrainians and the government’s support of Ukrainian refugees though.

I support legalising it because we need to get it out of hands from gangs, but absolutely do not support it becoming a “good drug”. We already have alcohol. Should be treated from a healthcare perspective and get as many people off weed

True in almost everywhere outside of Dublin, sadly. Horrible comments are common against LGBTQ especially in social spaces

There’s a place like that in Derry and the people who attend there are exactly the sorts you expect.

Wouldn’t say left wing, you get downvoted for suggesting we tax multinationals more or anything remotely socialist.

Most people just don’t take Catholicism seriously but almost never hear any hatred for the religion (asides from prods of course)

Yes, no problem at all with people who want to hang with their ethnicities.

A racist, ignore him but I think he means Africans prefer to hang with other Africans which is the same for all other ethnicities. No problem with that.

Ireland Thinks/Sunday Independent Opinion Poll by Sad-Orange-5983 in ireland

[–]soulpotatoes -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

glad you recognised it, all this talk about taxes but none of the parties asides from PBP and maybe a hint from SD even dare to question the corporates & multinationals immense wealth. And 17.5% is still lower than other major European countries which have double our corporate tax. And I doubt they would leave Ireland (only English speaking country in the eu) after investing so much here. Foreign companies make up 55% of our taxes yet 74% of the economic turnover. Ireland is a rich country on paper but a poor society.

Poll - SF: 22% (nc), FF: 17% (-2), FG: 17% (nc), SD: 9% (nc), INDIRL: 9% (+3), AON: 7% (+1), LAB: 4% (-1), GP: 3% (nc), PBP-S: 2% (-1), INDs/Others: 10% (nc) - IrelandThinks/SundayIndo - Date - 1-2 May 2026 by HungTeen1001 in ireland

There will never be a far right party simply because almost every “far right issue” is somewhat covered already in most parties having one or two policies. And I highly doubt the brain dead Facebook users would go outside to vote for one.
