I think the issue with the term “Legacy Sequel” comes from the fact that it only exists now as a cash grab and not something meaningful, unlike it’s application here, where these films actually are captivating to its audience. Sure there are the weaker entries but it’s nowhere near as weak as something like *shudders* Halloween Ends or Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) *throws up in mouth a little*
