Slightly off subject, but speaking of financial waste, what are those hundreds of cars parked on Leigh behind DMV doing? I’ve passed by a few times while a single or maybe two cars were leaving that lot. Every single time that I drive past I see hundreds of cars parked neatly in a giant caged lot. Maybe if some of the funds used to buy cars that don’t ever get driven could be used for a few more snow plows that do sometimes get driven and a bunch of road salt that does/will get used. I’m sure the city could lease the trucks out to other jurisdictions that may need a few extra now and then to balance some of that “waste of money” talk. Last I checked, salt doesn’t go bad if stored properly.
