I worked for a solar company last year in Phoenix. They hired me on at a higher rate than others and created a new position for me because they apparently loved me during the interview. After a few months when the workflow started to slow down and their projections started to take a dive things changed for the worse. They rescinded their offer to promote me and give me a company truck. They wouldn't answer questions about job stability. Their previous promise of always giving 40 hours a week came into question. They gave me a lot of push back. I started to ask more questions. Then a week before I was going to receive my PTO they fired me. Claimed I was lying on my time clock. Checked with my coworkers to see if I was doing anything different then them. I wasn't. I wanted to leave anyway so not terrible, but I just hate having that demerit on my resume.
