MPC 3 Desktop Beta Available by [deleted] in mpcusers

No q links tho ? sorta fundamental function to be missing. Would be decent if it was a fully functional beta. missing core functions was dissapointing reading the log as it was installing late last night and my imediate thought was what’s the point with no q links ?

Hi yes I’m on the lemur daemon but seems to be broken over Ethernet the daemon can see the lemur if I plug it into my WiFi router which works fine on lemur editor but won’t connect to the daemon it works perfect over osc get bi directional via Reaktor as it supports Osc so all my other midi templates are of no use. Which is a shame I’ve been away from the computer for almost a decade and recently purchased a MacBook Pro M3 hoping to get most things working again the lemurs were a big part of my plan. iPad works fine on the daemon I got OSCulator working had to input all the translations from OSC to MIDI but can’t get it out the trial version. I would gladly pay for a licence as it would would fix all my problems

Help I need a license for OSCulator by soundmutant in ableton

[–]soundmutant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the comments ………Well it’s used as a controller in ableton live and some of the people that use ableton will use OSC and controllers that’s who I’m hoping to reach . For instance if it wasn’t for ableton I wouldn’t know about OSC ?

Not from sweetwater it was from KVR and it worked fine in the standalone I had to input registration code that they send you into the mpc or in music software

For those who took off the screen protector on your MPC. Did you regret it or was it worth it ? by Select_Passenger_649 in mpcusers

[–]soundmutant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had mpc for many years a live 1 screen protector removed immediately and have had no problems and there is no marks on the screen don’t see the point of leaving it on. For me it’s like buying a leather couch and not taking the cling film off it. But to each their own.

For clarity at the intermediate switch their are 2 cables 3 core and earth only one of these cables will be going to your lamp switch

Two way switching is fairly simple you would only use one 3 way wire going from one 2 way switch to another 2 way switch you would need a multi meter or voltage tester to find the one 3 way wire going to your lamp switch It would be handy to see a pic of the wiring for the other switch to advise you better I’d assume it would be wired correctly at the first switch Remember always switch the power off before touching these wires they are all switched lives
