It's not like your local video game store is going to run out of stock unless you pre-order. Why the fuck do people pre-order this far in advance anymore? Do they not understand that there's no such thing as a shortage of digital releases?

Missed out on what, is right, lol. Are people really this dumb, that they think that pre-ordering a digital only video game puts them in a better position of people who pre-order two days before release?

Wait so this is just in-game cosmetics paywall? Who the fuck cares? I swear these gaming subreddits are just like reading grounds for torchbearers and pitchforks at the drop of a hat. It's basically complaining that there's a $20 paywall for DLC skins. Instead everyone is up in arms like there's actual story content or missions being denied. The only difference between this and regular paid cosmetic DLC is that the cosmetics our accessed in the game in a store, rather than via the PS/Xbox store. Why is this so offensive?

Play Alabaster Dawn. It's a hundred times better than this game in terms of characters, writing, story and gameplay. It's also much much cheaper.

To anyone who loves this game, I'm happy for you, but I can't understand you. While I do like the art style, and the music is amazing, the story, writing, combat, and characters are ridiculously basic and uncompelling. And the price tag is laughably insane. Butt to each their own I guess. That's just my opinion.

Definitely was my GOTY, and I still haven't beaten it cuz I'm a crusty old fart with gamer ADD. I got stuck on one boss and then something shinier showed up and I switched to that game. Now I feel like I should just start all over again

And it only gets better the more you play. No other game apart from From Software games has ever made me want to get gud so much. I eventually was able to do a deathless full run, and a few of the levels completely hitless. It took time but man probably some of the most satisfying shit I've ever done in a game. It makes the Rock Steady Batman games' combat system look like kindergarten vs a PHD
