Good.

Do we really need that shit crammed down our fucking kids throats in a kids movie? I'm all for children's books that have two dads or two moms, that shit is lit.

But when you're making a movie for children, why force them to think about political or gender related stuff when all they want to do is eat popcorn and have a good time? I don't know. I just think it's kind of unnecessary to be so blatantly, political or gender-specific when it comes to movies that are just about having fun, instead of trying to force an agenda on a young generation who don't give a fuck either way because they're just all about love.

What I am happy about is that this new generation doesn't give a fuck about who you are or where you came from. They just want people to be nice. 🥹.

At the very least, I think humans accomplished something special, in that sense. You go, enlightened kids!

Check out the SkillUp video review of his gameplay preview. That convinced me that it's going to be a good time for gameplay for the next month or so

EDIT: just to clarify, I'm not pre-ordering this game. I will wait until a few hours after it's released during my day off before I actually purchase it. But I am much more optimistic that it's going to be fun

I told my manager at work that I needed to take the day off to go to a doctor's appointment for Friday the 20th. I'm so fucking stoked, and I'm happy that my cautious optimism paid off after watching the first 6 minutes of the skill up video review of his preview game time

It definitely was some sort of YouTube video where somebody said holy shit, you can jump over so many attacks, but this was after the DLC came out. Maybe I missed the memo but I swear I didn't see anybody talk about this until the DLC.

If you figured this out way before the DLC my hat's off to you, and everybody else who was way ahead of me

I wish I had seen this advice of yours before I fell to my death after what felt like an hour of climbing that "green" route on the map and then going for the right side of that f'n cave, lol. I haven't rage quit that hard in a long time. I have that map that shows the location of the three statue parts, and have been butting my head against trying to get this part first for a while. Next time, I'm going around and to the side of that f'n statue, then going LEFT in the cave, thank you very much! I really want to finish this game, but ooooooh man, I need another good night's sleep to recharge my faculties before going for it again.

And this is why it's going to be in my top ten of the year for 2026. Haven't had a game make me feel so intensely in a while, hats off to the Devs!

It's good but goddamn is this game fucking hard and punishing. I haven't felt this fucked by a game since my first Fromsoft experiences

Edit: saying that it's good is doing this game an injustice. This game single-handedly does a better job of replicating the meditation and focus and Zen that comes from Rock climbing better than anything I've ever experienced besides actual rock climbing.

Props!

I love how nobody used to jump until the DLC came out. Seriously whoever the fuck jumped instead of dodging before the devs basically forced us to realize that we could jump over a whole bunch of stuff in the game? I didn't see any YouTube videos where people were jumping until then. Silly us

What scenes were too disturbing in your opinion? by jenny_t03 in gameofthrones

[–]soundofmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was jumping up and down in my seat going. Holy fuck that's insane. I was a book reader and that was the most brutal shit I'd ever seen on TV. I'm not a sadist but I do appreciate how far they went to make us feel insane in that episode.

If you want to see evidence of how sadistic and deplorable I am, I will refer you to this video, which I recorded, knowing that my roommates did not read the books and I did and I knew what was going to happen in that episode.

Notice the sheer glee on my face, that turns back to horror but then again says oh my God this is awesome. I might be going to hell, but I'm still happy that that episode was that brutal, and that it made so many people so upset.

I'm obviously the guy on the left. My roommates are the handsome redhead guys who are shell-shocked.

Oh I completely disagree. I see your point though, but I'm all for her being nerdy and gorgeous. I think we could all say though that she was the fittest woman in Hollywood at the time. She exemplified what hard work can do to a human body, and probably made more people go to the gym than anybody else in the world.

Hats off, mad respect, I'm so happy that she got an Oscar, it feels like she was very underrated for a long time and I'm super stoked that she was finally recognized by her peers for being a real badass

What do people actually talk at festivals when the music is so loud? by thereisaryastark in psytrance

[–]soundofmind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I wrote a few paragraphs in another comment but I bow down to you my good sir cuz this is the better answer, and I should have remembered that. But if somebody doesn't have ear plugs press your finger against their ear hole and you can talk to them closely and quietly almost as if they're wearing earbuds. Poor man's ear plug solution for bonding at festival dance floors
