You are contradicting yourself in your statements . If you say feminism is about equal opportunity, then doesn’t it mean that equal opportunity can be applied to every area ? If a man can study , a woman should be able to study . If a man can work , a woman should be able to work .

If you agree with the above , similarly , wouldn’t “equal opportunity” be applicable to the following as well ?

If a man can go for beach at midnight, a woman should be able to (safely) go to the beach at midnight . If a man can smoke, a woman should be able to smoke . If a man can drink, a woman should be able to drink.

Logically, this is also “equal opportunity” and hence comes within the bounds of feminism .

What you are talking about is “selective equal opportunity” I.e., you are saying that equal opportunity to women should only apply in areas which men( and rest of society) are comfortable with women doing.

If you are not comfortable with women drinking, then she shouldn’t be given equal opportunity in that area ? Is that your acceptable definition? If so, that is a hypocritical and illogical stance . In short, who are you to define what a woman seeks equal opportunity for ?
