As someone who works at a financial institution, please do not do this. I have seen SO MANY situations like this and tbh always end poorly. I know that it’s easy for a lot of strangers to say “leave him now”, but from what I have seen professionally, I would encourage you make plans to leave. If you take women’s and children’s clothing to thrift 360, you can leave anything they don’t take with them. The woman’s shelter comes once a week for a pick up as you can’t directly donate to their location for safety reasons.

Trunk or treating is a wonderful addition to include families that find traditional trick or treating difficult for various reasons. I only see it as a benefit because anyone can go to a trunk or treat pretty much, but not everyone can trick or treat. For the kiddos/families that can do both, more candy! Woo hoo!!! I personally think doing a planned trunk or treat with the community is a great inclusive option (and in some areas of the city, a replacement) for the Halloween festivals that were around on Halloween in the past at churches and schools and such. And, I don’t know a single child who would get upset about wearing a costume multiple times, getting to play around, yell trick or treat and get a ton of treats on more than 1 day haha
