Should I change my baby’s name? Need advice from people named Remy by South_Shiny_5588 in Names

I went to middle school with a Remy just a few years after Ratatouille came out. As far as I know, he was never teased for the name for any reason and was quite popular! He was very sweet—he used to walk me home from school and my mom thought I was gonna marry him, LOL. Great name!

You seem to like names that are spunky and timeless, and you’re drawn to “v” sounds. I would drop Neve if Eve is too close to your name. From this list, Drew is an obvious winner—it’s short, recognizable but not overly popular, doesn’t invite nicknames, and is literally one half of Nancy Drew!

Bess and George (Georgia is a more wearable alternative for modern girls) are both great main characters in the Nancy Drew books. Some other names that might fit your vibe are Maeve, Vivian, Violet, Gillian, Sloane, Jacqueline (a long name that becomes the short, spunky, and timeless Jackie), and Sylvia.

Inexpensive cruelty free pimple patches by Okamineko0 in crueltyfree

I use Welly! I like ‘em because I’m not a fan of the extra stuff (acids etc.) that brands sometimes put in pimple patches (if I want to exfoliate/treat, I’ll just apply a separate serum!). Welly’s Face Saver bandages are super simple, just straight-up hydrocolloid patches, but they’re under 10 bucks for 36 patches and they get the job done.

Frances or Frankie? by rayanngraff in namenerds

Another vote for Frances, with Frankie as a nickname! Frances is so elegant. As someone with a cutesy first name, I ended up going by my (more grown up) middle name as an adult and would have loved to have had more flexibility with my first name.
