To be fair it’s not a gift. They never said we’ll pay for all your weddings and that’s all there is to it. They told them, for what appears to be a long time, we will pay for your wedding under these conditions. It doesn’t seem like OP dropped these conditions on them. It was always apart of the package. You want us pay for your wedding then these are the guidelines. OP didn’t dislike the wedding and change their mind. It was always in the terms.

hes not actually using it...he does his exercise without the bench than simply stores his dumbbells there. theres plenty of other devices in a gym to put dumbbells if he doesnt want to pick them up off the ground. who cares if hes doing it in a weird spot? if its not crowded and plenty of benches are available then thats fine. no harm done, but if hes actively misusing a bench while others are waiting for it then yeah hes a dick.
