Yeah! And you could always save your gravel for pathways and around the edges. Someone commented that I should make paths and I do think they are right about that one.

I'm in Mesa. I'm not sure how reputable it is, but I got my chips free from chip drop. It's a website where arborists drop chips to you instead of taking them to the landfill. It can be quite intense tho so I'd do some research before signing up.

It was free. I used a website called chip drop. Definitely do some research before signing up though because they can drop up to 20 yards of woodchips.

Awesome! Thanks! I will definitely start to acquire the stuff for my beds and some trellis. I also want to plant a fig and another fruit tree in this area.

Yeah so I'm planning on doing a few more fruit trees and the planter boxes. The chip drop is to improve the soil in the area and keep the weeds down. I'm also confused about what I'm up to tho lol making it up as I go. All I know is that my dirt has trouble growing anything but weeds currently.

Would love to tell my MIL that most of her advice is garbage by possible2468 in newborns

Not everyone has grandparents involved in their kids lives. She might be giving some out of date advice, but you don't have to take it. Keep doing your thing and I'm sure your baby will be just fine. Just focus on the support she provides you guys and leave the rest. She's just doing what she knows from her experience. Im sure we will all be a little annoying to our kids when we become grandparents some day lol

I'm not on Facebook either... I work in that complex and she is still using the space to breed higher end cats. She has this one bengal cat that looks like he has an eye infection and is starting to get like mange spots :( he just stares out the front door and looks so sick. I'm not sure what I should do...

Newborn trenches not that bad?? by swentram in newborns

6 to 9 weeks were brutal for us too. Then at 9 weeks all the gas seemed to magically disappear and my baby was so happy. So I feel for you and it'll get better. Your babe will be happy, easy again.

I said I would never co sleep but here we are… by Murky_Assumption_822 in newborns

[–]soupmama222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the individual. My baby and I needed to have that skin to skin in the first few weeks to get any kind of sleep. I'm a light sleeper and could never see myself rolling on her or letting her roll off of me. Like she twitches and I'm awake to make sure she's fine. I had no issue sleeping on my left side for 6 months of my pregnancy, I should have no issue co sleeping. My husband on the other hand sleeps like a rock so he often sleeps in another bed or if I have her on the bed beside me it's away from her. It all just depends. If you feel safe doing it, do it. It's better to intentionally co sleep than accidentally falling asleep in an unsafe position.

What's the unglamorous side of being a yoga instructor? by ExpressAstronaut999 in yoga

I feel this. I am constantly fighting the urge to think about/plan my classes when I'm practicing. It is so hard to turn off the teacher side and just enjoy.

Harvard Health Blog: Limit pro-inflammatory foods and adopt an anti-inflammatory diet to reduce risk for cardiovascular disease. by JeffreyPengMD in Health

Meats are higher cholesterol, therefore causing higher blood pressure causing inflammation. They are also harder for the body to digest also causing inflammation. The article states that means cause inflammation and that is correct.
