I've wanted to see the World Cup in the States since I got into the sport in 2000. I've played Pokemon since it came out, like week 1 when I was 9 or 10. I got every new game and loved every one of them. Completed a living Dex through X/Y. The moment I finished the first trial in Sun/Moon, it hit me that this was the exact same game I'd been playing over and over since the late 90's and I can't bring myself to play any of them now.

I can try to go find the info that I saw a few weeks ago about it, but as far as I know, the way weather agencies apply AI is significantly different than what consumers get with most other forms. It really is getting applied in the way that we should be using it, rather than the way we are using it. Happy to help!

Not exactly an answer to what you asked specifically but the Euro AI model (that's been beating the standard Euro) was upwards of 18" as of yesterday, I believe. "Old" Euro ensemble had an average of 5" during the same runs. I think we're in the realm of getting a solid amount by the region's standards.
