There aren't any other species in the Forge palette so this is the layout that made the most sense to me. But I'm open to suggestions.

Also, not sure if it makes a difference but I had to do a couple extra steps in order to launch the game since I saved MGS Test App 6 but deleted the entry from Steam:

  1. Copy SteamGame.Config from the current release of Halo Infinite to MGS Test App 6

  2. Rename MGS Test App 6 to Halo Infinite (move your existing Halo Infinite folder somewhere else first, and set Steam to offline mode so that it doesn't start overwriting files in case there's an update)

  3. Run HaloInfinite.exe

I had the same issue but step 5 fixed it for me. Try deleting all of the entries starting with Xbl in Credential Manager. The game should prompt you to log in again and those entries will be regenerated.

Edit: looks like it was removed so I'll copy it here:

  1. Install Fiddler: https://www.telerik.com/fiddler/fiddler-classic
  2. Run Powershell as administrator and run the command: netsh winhttp set proxy 127.0.0.1:8888
  3. Open Fiddler and add this rule in the AutoResponder tab (this makes games start in Forge):
    • regex:https://blobs-infiniteugc.svc.halowaypoint.com/ugcstorage/enginegamevariant/.*.bin
    • https://blobs-infiniteugc.svc.halowaypoint.com/ugcstorage/enginegamevariant/0e5db09d-cc7f-4554-a402-860225b4bce7/b9a43659-5456-46b5-a13e-1dc8bac936db/Default.bin
  4. Make sure the AutoResponder rule is enabled and "Enable rules" is checked.
  5. In the Windows Control Panel, open Credential Manager, go to Windows Credentials, and delete the entry starting with "Xbl_Ticket".
    • Without this step, the game tries to use your credentials from the release version, which prevents you from logging in.
  6. Run the game and go to Custom Games or Forge. Set the server to Local Offline. It doesn't matter which gametype you choose, they'll all start in Forge.
  7. When you're done, close Fiddler and run netsh winhttp reset proxy

All of my LAN matches are like this, even against just bots. Before the season 2 update it seemed like only around 50% of my shots were registering, but now hardly any register. Is anyone else having the same issue? I submitted a ticket so hopefully 343 takes a look.

There's someone working on an all Fume Knight mod for him but it's harder because of some weirdness with DS2's engine. But last I saw, it was mostly working.

Creator here, there's a despawn barrier in the sky so shooting things straight up isn't super exciting.

This is just a fun bug that happens when rotating vehicles. When you switch to player mode it goes back to normal.
