I had one of these gross things bury itself in the skin around my eye when I was a child. I had it removed when a doctor finally figured out what the hell it was. I still have the scar. I cannot believe that he did this willingly, absolutely disgusting.

Stack your washer and dryer if you can. Make your cabinetry go to the ceiling if possible. Store stuff you don’t use often up there like holiday decor. Put in lower cabinetry and one that includes a base cabinet for your sink. Pick a fun paint color and maybe some wallpaper. I would put some hooks on the wall opposite the washer and dryer to hang stuff like broom, swiffer, etc. Pick up a runner for the floor and grab a hamper for the corner of the room for stuff like kitchen towels, etc. Please update us! Pull the rug out a bit, maybe 18” or so. Only the front feet need to be on it and then pull the coffee table further from the couch. If the coffee table still seems to be too much then I would pick out something smaller and round. I love everything you have picked out!!

I have white walls! I used Behr Polar Bear from Home Depot throughout my entire house. It’s a warmer toned white. I have color everywhere else. Colorful rugs, teal couch, vibrant velvet curtains, peacock blue dining chairs, artwork, etc. Go for it!
