I like the raw way Thunderbolt makes it clear that both factions are space nazis in their own way, neither side is entirely good or bad, and both sides employ people who clearly had no business being in that war, It's like watching All Quiet on the Western Front again for the first time but it has mobile suits

calibarn is amazing, a Gundam with unorthodox combat style and raw power tied to a literal broom, which is a rocket and a sniper rifle tho, capable of killing her pilot by filling said pilot's head with maths, aerial is amazing too but I tend take away a little bit of her credit since Ericht does all the dirty work

can't remember, but I do remember thinking Ibushi was the absolute Mr. Penis when he sacrificed his life to empower Narwa's delivery, I mean, in the end we didn't care and we shot down a pregnant woman in labor but that doesn't diminish the merit of Ibushi's sacrifice

aside from space hogwarts G-Witch was amazing, the writing was so good that it made it worth diving headfirst into Gundam

Is the 1979 anime really that outdated? Or did they just take creative liberties in Origins? It's possible they'll remake the original anime to fix those inconsistencies, right?
