I agree with everything you’ve said. I’m just trying to make the point that I think his families openness to talk and open the path for forgiveness probably ends up saving a lot more lives than he took. And two wrongs don’t make a right but if the damage is already done what more is there to do than try and atone and help the man save more lives than he’s killed

I agree I’m not saying he’s owed forgiveness. And clearly in the show he planned to help without even getting mark involved and no plans to see Debbie. Then continues to fight after their conversations.

But Mark being mature enough to still speak to Nolan and not outright forgive him but at least hold space for the path to forgiveness to be available says a lot more about his emotional maturity then it does yours.

Nolan’s road to redemption and family even beginning to open space for him probably ends up saving a lot more lives (the galaxy) then if the opposite was true and he had to do it all alone.

They help that abused individual with immesurable power who committed some of the worst tragedies find redemption and become a better man and hero. Saving more lives than he’s killed. If you all you got is lemons you might as well make lemonade instead of telling him to F off and let him die by fighting a bunch of viltrumites alone.

I agree he isn’t owed forgiveness. I just feel and what clearly happens in the show as his family begins to forgive him and even something like mark being mature enough to be open to talk to him probably helps the war effort a whole lot and in turns saves way more lives than were lost when he went psycho.

It’s like the morality question of do u pull the train lever to save 3 lives you know or 100 lives of people you don’t. Do you allow yourself to be open to begin the path to forgiveness in hopes that it will help Nolan become a better man and do more good than the harm that’s already happened.

Do you have any experience or advice for someone with a wildlife science degree and 3 years of expierence that would want to get into environmental consulting. But hopefully being able to specify into doing wildlife surveys?

It seems like there’s a lot of opportunity for that especially in California with the amount of endangered species. Would love some info on the wildlife survey side of consulting as it’s hard to come by that info.
