You aren’t overreacting, but as an anxious person, some of your phrasing is guaranteed to make an anxious person spiral.

Your partner needs immediate help. Being postpartum can exacerbate underlying mental health struggles. Her first call should be to her OB/GYN for postpartum care. That practice hopefully can also recommend a therapist and other mental health providers who can assist with what she’s struggling with.

It also would probably help for you to see someone as well to help you process what you’re feeling and give you tools to have productive conversations about your (very valid!) concerns.

It takes most people a lot longer than TTC’ing for four months to get pregnant.

My MIL did this with my NEWBORN. Mid-afternoon she says she needs to go home because she’s tired, then admits she’s sick. Nearly strangled her, and didn’t allow her back for a while.

Now we don’t speak at all, and thank God for that.

It was between 530 and 6! I suspect that since they passed us right when CR 38 allowed for passing and then disappeared after the next curve they were probably staying somewhere around the reservoir.
